Associate Therapist

(October 2023-September 2026)

NOCD, Remote 

  • I provide therapy specializing in OCD, anxiety, depression and BFRBs. Treatments include ERP, habit reversal training and behavioral activation.

  • Facilitate 2 support groups including Managing Existential OCD for Members and Managing Relationship OCD for members and their partners (couples)

Bilingual Mobile Outreach Clinician

(June 2022-October 2023)

North Inland Mental Health Center, Escondido 

  • Travel to wherever the person is if in acute care settings (psych hospital, CSU, crisis residential center, jail) or if they have interacted with PERT or MCRT to conduct screenings, behavioral health assessments (BHA), facilitate warm hand offs to appropriate levels of care and link the individual and their family to community resources. Individuals in these acute care settings or who use these emergency services are considered “high-risk clients” for Mobile Outreach.

  • Coordinated Mobile Outreach Team Monthly Meetings for August-December for 14 people including monthly agenda template and meeting minutes using Outlook and Team groups

  • Screen individuals during monthly encampment visits alongside Escondido Police, PERT clinician and other organizations from SD County and Interfaith.

Project Management Experience

Create Equal Access For All Conference (October 2018-May 2019)

Marina Village Conference Center, San Diego

  • Applied for grant funding from SDSU and was awarded $18,500 to organize and host a conference for 100 students and community members

  • Recruited 23 volunteers and supervised the volunteer coordinator

  • Hired videographer, designed and ordered volunteer t-shirts

  • Reserved and obtained conference center contracts and managed vendors

  • Recruited 10 guest speakers including stakeholders from Disability Rights California, Deaf Community Services of San Diego, SOULcial Workers, Voices of our City Choir, local hop artist and college students

  • Planned all reasonable accommodations to ensure accessibility for all

  • Created large font, accessible and PDF conference program and event flyers

  • Created and maintained conference attendee registration

  • Recruited and supervised student volunteer to organize the resource fair

  • Applied for grant funding from SDSU and was awarded $8,600 to organize and host a conference for 70 students and community members
