Hello

As a previous Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) and former active youth volunteer, I am excited to start a Youth Council here in Escondido. I have completed many service learning projects as a youth advocate and now as a local non profit founder Advocacy Thru FAM (food, art, music), social worker and therapist, my goal is to Create Opportunities Over Lifetimes (COOL) grounded in mindfulness. Many organizations are in need of compassionate volunteers and many youth are in search of meaningful activities to dedicate their time to so our hope is the Youth Council will serve as an opportunity to explore your gifts and talents to shape the community you want to live in.  Youth are our future leaders and the Youth Voice is needed now more than ever!
